Tasks
03_Tasks
Tasks are a central part of Davidhorn software. A single Task contains important metadata and interview recordings (Files). The metadata fields are determined by the template used.
Running time: 15:13
Key takeaways
- A Task in Ark Admin is called a Record in Ark.
- A Task is created from a Template. A template is a collection of metadata fields, e.g. interviewer name, interview type, etc. A task template has a name and a description and can reflect the types of interviews conducted by your organisation. For example, you could have a template called ABE (Achieving-best-evidence) interviews. Changes made to templates are saved automatically.
- Metadata fields can contain text, numbers, a multiple or single-choice list, time, entities (people), layout components or files.
- Changes to template metadata fields only affects new Tasks. However, if you make changes to the interview Retention Policy of a Template, it will affect all Tasks, including the ones created in the past.
- The Shared content tab displays all pending and active Sharing Sessions. These include files and information Ark users shared with a third party, which can be accessed by third parties via the Sharing portal web portal.
- Under the Retention tab, you can see and configure your Retention Policies.
