In spring 2024, “The Manual on Investigative Interviewing for Criminal Investigation” was published, marking a significant milestone in the evolution of global justice systems.<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

This manual, the result of a collaborative effort among the United Nations<\/mark><\/a>, the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights<\/mark><\/a>,<\/mark> and the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime<\/mark><\/a>, introduces a transformative approach to criminal investigations worldwide. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Revolutionising i<\/strong>nvestigative interviewing<\/strong> <\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Now The UN Manual on Investigative Interviewing has been launched during the UN Chiefs of Police Summit 2024. Juan M\u00e9ndez<\/mark><\/a>, Professor of Human Rights Law, former UN’s Special Rapporteur on torture shared hist thoughts about the publication while interviewed for Davidhorn\u2019s podcast \u201cBeyond a Reasonable Doubt\u201d:  <\/p>\n\n\n\n
